It is always the suspense that keeps you moving. You can never predict what happens the next second. The fun is over when the suspense. I always used to long for celeb like Easter, Christmas or Onam- excitement going for the midnight mass, the family get together, good food... But I feel that living the moment you have waited for a long time is more important, though I fail to do so most of the times. Once it is over I always used to think about it and feel sad that its over and will never comeback again.
I should rather stick to something my friend said once. 'You should be happy that it happened and you were a part of  it. There are a lot of people looking back at those days and are happy about it just like you.'

Once again it is Christmas season again. Looking forward for the best Christmas season. :)

Life moves on

Thankfulness: Many things keep on happening and majority of them we take for granted and never thank the ones behind small things. One simple thing they told was to be thankful for each and every thing that happens in our life whatsoever small it may be.

Respect: learn to respect people not depending upon whether they could benefit/not benefit you. Give respect and take respect. Respect the very asthithv of the ones you encounter

Faith: Have ample time for yourselves. Believe that all things happening right now is with a purpose. It will not be complete without you. Spirituality in the right amount is one way of doing it. Belief in God will change your life drastically. Its about the faith that you have ; when all things go wrong, still your God will look forward for you. You are precious in his sight.

Values: Be yourself and have faith in your potentials. Never cheat your own inner self. Your life is complete when you live your life not somebody else's.

Common school system in India run by common government for a better India

This post is a byproduct of my patient listening of today's debate on the above topic held at RSC Baroda. Well, just because I'm afraid to go up to the dais does not mean that I don't have opinion about the same.
In principle I give my vote against the topic.
Common school system run by a common government system in my view is as good as Utopian concept which cannot materialize in the near future. Our constitution points towards primary education for all. But to a large extent our Government has miserably failed in the same. My friends who have talked in favour of the subject have pointed towards KVs and navodaya Vidyalayas running successfully in the government control. But my question is what percentage of students can get admission into any of these successfully run govt schools. Majority of the students in KVs, DAV schools are children of central government employees. This fact will be quite evident once we start looking into the employment scenario in the country.
As far as education is concerned all the efforts are useless unless it reaches to the root of the society and fruits of education improves the lifestyle of lower strata of the society. Many of the poor people cannot even dream of an entry to the KVs or Navodayas. Majority of them end up in state government run schools which faces either constant threat of closing down or permanent absence of teachers. This is one area where government has to come up with a solution.
Another friend has told about Ambani's and autowala's son studying together on the same bench in the same school. I firmly believe that it is quite a situation, gives a good tagline for justification. But what we actually want is common curriculum and syllabus plus abolition of all the coaching centres which would place both of them in the same platform and allows talent, hardwork and intellect to play their part rather than money and influence.
And truly education in the real sense inculcating values and ethics will lead to a better India where everyone gets what they truly deserve and questions what had gone wrong.

Engineer's Day

In India Engineer's day is celebrated in honor of Sri. M Viswesarayya who was a great civil Engineer from the princely state of Mysore. He was well known for his sincerity, dedication to his work and carried out various projects under his guidance including several railway lines. He deserves to be honored and its our duty to imbibe his good values.
Wishing all of you a fruitful Engineer's day. Let our country attain new heights through the great engineers.
