The best way to live is to try for the best and to be happy with what you have. One thing which lasts forever is your self respect. I remember one of my profs saying, "You have to stand for something, else you will fall for everything".

Our life is so short, by the time start loving to live it, it just happens to cease. Our life will always be remembered for the last scenes of it, more graceful,the better it is remembered. I just remember the story of the milkman who used to sell his bottles of milk diluted with water.

Life is just a sigma of what we have done in the past. Whatever has been received illegally we will have to pay back, may be in multiple. But self respect is like a bubble,once pricked, nobody even thinks of its existence.

Once came up the question of who is a better option, an inefficient honest officer or an efficient dishonest officer. I would like to go with the first one, the reason being he will have self respect. Somebody told me that my job is like a game-one without any rules. But I'm hopeful. Its not so.
